Can't seem to find anything, but is there cases to carry removable devices. I have a Thinkpad with an UltraBay and I'm going be picking up another Ultrabay device and I'm looking for a case (just for the device) that can protect it. Mainly concerned about the Optical drive.

Anyone use anything for this purpose?

I'm a relatively new laptop user/ owner. I've got everything in a bag. (grin)

I have been thinking of making something up. And using something like Radio Shack's fancy heavy duty velcro to stick it to my toughbook.

I'd like to carry a mouse, stylus (touchscreen) and whatever pcmcia adapter I need. Aha.

Now that you got me going, I have a brand new Pelican 1060 "micro case"/ rubber padded, fully waterproof and it has a lanyard for some additional security. Against misplacing. Retail- US$27. www.pelican.com 6 sizes from the sleeve w/ it.

Superlock velcro from the Shack: http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...r=1&origkw=velcro&kw=velcro&parentPage=search

Good enough to mount a camera in a race car.
