Has anyone used the Case Logic Shuttle Fit sleeve with the Inspiron 1420? I have a 1420 shipping with 2 9-cell batteries, and want to be sure that it will fit in this case so I can have it here when the notebook arrives. I only need something to offer a little protection from scratches and minor bumps in my work briefcase, and I like that this case is red to match my lid, and I can quickly get the notebook out of the case when I arrive at class (I'm a teacher, and getting set up quickly is important).

Well, I got the case today. It looks exactly like what I'm wanting. Now I just need Dell to ship my 1420, and I can tell if it fits or not. My 700m with the larger battery is much too small to fit in it, so I suspect the 1420 will fit nicely.

I just bought that sleeve and my Sager 2090 doesnt fit with the Battery.

I love the material of the sleeve.

Did you get the 15.4" version of this case? It's not really a problem if it doesn't fit, I'll just return it to Amazon. I really like the material as well, it will protect the notebook while in my bag very well.

I bought a 17" neoprene Body Glove sleeve for my Inspiron 1721, but since I have a 9 cell battery, the 1721 doesn't fit in it. In fact the 1721 is a bit wider than the sleeve.

My wife got a new Dell Latitude D630 14" widescreen laptop. I gave her the 17" sleeve and it's a perfect fit!

I ended up ordering the Vostro 1400, and the Case Logic sleeve in my first post fits it pretty well. Near the opening it kind of bubbles up a little, but it works well for keeping it protected in my work bag.
