I am going to be going to the UK for over a week and I need a way to charge my computer (cell phone does not work over there anyway).

I have a choice of 2 laptops and would prefer the Dell.

    Dell 1420
    Toshiba R10

Where can I get a reliable power supply for either that will work in the UK?

I'm pretty sure the power adapters are compatible with UK voltages. You'll just need a three pin plug to connect to your power adapter~

Yeah, all notebook power supplys are multi voltage 110 to 240 volts so you will be fine, you will just need a uk power cable or a us to uk power adaptor.
