Does anyone know of some cheap decent headphones, with some nice bass, the last pair of headphones i had cost a quid and were suprisingly alright but broke easily XD

Cheap is pretty relative. I have a pair of Sony EX-85's, which fit my ears very well, and have very good sound - during the holiday discount, they were under $40, I think I got mine shipped for $40.
-
I just picked up a set of Plantronics over the ear noise cancelling headphones. They sound great and have a mic.
Best of all, they were open box at Futureshop for $15. Regular $50.

nice, i generally want them for my psp
btw i live in the uk

Look for some Sennheiser CX300's or some Creative EP-630's. Unless your definition is more like the Phonak PFE's(140USD). Those are really popular right now.
-
I got some Denon C551's off Ebay new for £36 (RRP £70) - couldnt recommend those enough, I would have been happy with them if I had spent £70, so £36 is awesome
-
but aren't those earbuds, i'm looking more for the things you wear on your head XD

Sennheiser PX100 headphones.
Good bass, Comfortable, relatively good looking, light. DONE. -
Oh yes, for headphones the Sennheiser PX100's get my vote in the cheap category.
-
i got these when my old headphones broke and they are pretty good. Good amount of bass, and sound really good when I set up the EQ.
-
I also recommend the Sennheiser PX100. I've been using them almost daily for three years and they're still going great and strong.

I use Sennheiser HD-280 Pros at work and Shure E3cs on the bus for this. I think the SE310 is the E3c replacement.
-
how good is the px200 in comparison to the px100 because the px200 has closed ear thingys
-
In short, again, px100 is the best. -
Hmm well if i get some money i might think about buying them, so far i've only ever had real cheap sets like 9.99 ones..
-
haha I was the same way, always had cheapies. Until about 2.5 years ago when I got the PX100's at tigerdirect. Now I could never go back to cheapie headphones. I have since moved up again to Audio Technica ATH-AD700's
Just be aware. Right now you are saving lots of money on headphones, because all you get are the cheapies.. Once you've tried out the more expensive ones, you'll never save that kind of money again; you will then know what you are missing out on. -
Lol thanks for the advice

Durability probably matters a bit too in the final price. I've had my PX100 headphones since around this time in 2006 and they've stood up to a lot of abuse over the last three years. I've had these yanked off my head from getting caught under chair casters, unplugged from the headphone jack by essentially pulling from my head when I wheeled too far away from my computer, and the headband stretched to maximum length several times as I stood up while still wearing them, and they're still undamaged and going strong.
-
^ durability was also an important reason why i got my first Sennheisers.
cheap stuff like Creative headphones breaks easily.
of course Sound quality is another league.
btw also checkout 3 new release by Sennheisers in consumer category..released during CES 2009 but didnt get noticed due to HD800 the show stealer.
