Longstory short i use a messenger bag its roomy enough for my tools and a 18 inch laptop but im using only a 15.6 My bag has kevlar lining and fire retardant materials also a layer of bomb proof stuff.

What im looking for is a box that wont break to put my laptop in. Anyone?
I know the materials are tough but that doesnt prevent the Laptop from being broken or crushed if the bag is. i tried looking for uncrushable boxes and other things i keep finding bulletproof bags... whats the point of the bag if the impact or someones fist or something else such as falling crushes your laptop!

im thinking of a very sturdy box with some sorta cushiony lining inside.

UPS/FEDEX have laptop shipping boxes that are pretty cool...but not sure if you want to carry a large box everywhere....Maybe a pelican box

Maybe a gun case. That or the box you bought your laptop in. But when people want to take their laptop around, absorbing crushing blows at the expense of being very bulky is usually not important.

Just buy a casing and strap on some Nokia 3310, it'll survive a nuclear blast

Actually I've broken 1 nokia 3310 and a 3330 under regular use. I've found other models more resistant.
