I dont know if you guys have seen this mouse before, or if you have talked about it already, but here it is...
Here is an article about it:

And here is where you can buy it:

What do you guys think about this? It fits in the side of your notebook, in the card slot. It charges very fastly while it is in the card slot. Also, it is obviously very skinny and portable, and is bluetooth capatible, so no wires. It has platform that springs out to give it a mouse feeling. The only bad things are that it is very small, and is proboly hard to use. Also, it has no scroll wheel.![]()
So what do you guys think?

I saw that a while ago when I was looking for my current rig. I know someone that has one, but it is kinda small, can't really put a lot of weight on the back. It is uncomfortable for long term use, and the lack of a scroll wheel makes it just that much more annoying to use, but I have gotten dependent on the scroll wheel so it is just me.
-
yeah i think without the scroll wheel, it sucks.
I'm gunna wait till they come out with the next version, with a touch pad scroll wheel, then i might get it...
I always use the scroll wheel also, so i think i would hate it without one... -
I'd have that broken within 3 days.
My mice must stand physical abuse due to anger caused by CSS, on occassion =D -
yeah i agree lol...

I would hate that thing, I'm too used to nice sculpted mice from Logitech, like the Mx1000 and VX Revolution that I use.

I use a Mac at work... what's the other button for?

Its just for when you get bored, that way you have something to click. Sometime they make it do something, but never something really important.

After trying out a MoGo mouse at Futureshop, I have to say that I'm impressed. Even though it wasn't as ergonomic as a full-size mouse, it was surprisingly comfortable and usable (for a rectangle). I can see it being a pain after a long period of use, but it's really more designed for quick, on-the-go sessions anyway. With the newer Express Slot version coming out (with a touch scroll pad!) I just might pick one up...

I have a MoGo mouse and I find it surprisingly comfortable, it's so light it's basically finger controlled instead of wrist controlled which you soon get used to quickly.
I am also a big fan of Logitech mice and have used/use MX510 & MX518 all the time. -
I think it looks like an interesting mouse. Not for everybody though. I doubt it would be sufficient for gamers. Enough for simple 2D games and possibly RTS though I'd bet.
If it wasn't $70, I might even consider one for myself. It's a great innovation and if it makes it to a 2nd or 3rd generation, this mouse will become an excellent mobile solution I think. -
I was looking at this just recently and am contemplating getting it. That or the VX Revolution.

I have this mouse. I got it because my cousin had it, and it worked incredibly well, and was very confortable. I've been able to get it paired through bluetooth my laptop, however it doesn't seem to work all that well. I'm going to look into troubleshooting issues, but so far, it hasn't worked good for me.
-
i don't understand how people use the small "travel" sized mice... nevermind somethign like that! i like a good, hefty mouse.
-
LOL jkjk couldn't resist -
Just an update, I've gotten the mouse working well now...
It turns out it wasn't fully charged when I was having the problems earlier. Once it's charged, it works perfectly. -
yeah but isnt it hard to use, and isnt it annoying with no scroll bar?
-
and does anyone know when the newer version of the MoGo is coming out? I might buy it, becuase it comes with a touch pad scroll wheel...
-
it's interesting looking but I have a device like that built into my laptop...a mouse pad.
Like "Red" wrote earlier in the tread it would die in short order due to...css and/or .net issues...sometimes electrionic objects simply must be scarificed to the gawds just to strike fear into the remaing devices. ]

I hear the new ExpressCard mogo will be costing 10$ more and has a scroller. I think it should be coming out in the first quarter of 2007.

I think the mouse looks slick son! How pimp is it to walk into a coffee shop, whip that thing out and start taking care of business. Yeah, I wouldn't use it for game, but I would game in a coffee shop either. In fact, I wouldn't game any place where I'd be tempted to use that mouse. It's simply the nature of portability. I don't think it's lack of weight would take away from it's practicalities in the least. To a certain extent, it's light size would actually be an advantage compaired to some of those bricks on the market. I honestly believe that anybody who doesn't want this mouse needs to get out more. Agoraphobics!

Its a neat concept but not very form fitting imho
