Let's say theoretically (this is what I encountered)...
The V200, V270, V400, and V500 are the same price. Which one would you get?
I'm stuck =)
-
id get the v500 or v400
they look nice too! -
i have used all 4 actually, i look at products for a large electronics retail chain. The v400 is AMAZING. great laser engine, very smooth and extremely accurate!
-
Ahhhhh.... so hard to choose from!! Debating the V400 or V500 now... I LOVE the V500 virtual scroll... but then I don't like the color. I LOVE the grey on the V400 but not the scroll.... man.
-
I'd be after the 270 but that would be for the bluetooth. Just can't handle the dongle deal.
-
Read about the BT already... many people dislike it and some hate it because of lag issues and interference issues..
-
The thing about reviews for the most part are that the majority of people that are happy with a product, don't look for a site to tell everybody about it in a review. Again, this is for the most part. But when something is wrong or they are unhappy, its review time! That being said, the lag on my Kensington PocketMouse is a lag on starting back up after no use or system standy by. Just a couple of seconds. But as far as interference problems, those I have not run into at all. Just my .02
-
Very true... very true. Good point! I will be keeping that in mind when I read reviews. -
Just ordered the V400 off Buy.com =)
-
i got the V270 mouse.
Pros:
-doesn't use up a usb port
-bluetooth capable
-almost the same size as a standard mouse
-includes a case and batteries
-very minimalistic look
Con:
-doesn't include a bluetooth dongle for notebooks that don't have integrated bluetooth -
do you have bt? if you do you should get the v270
-
I have the v270 and am very happy w/ it. I haven't had any lag/interference issues & love the fact that I don't have to plug anything in for it to work. Just turn it on, wait 2-3 seconds & it's ready to use.
-
i have been using the v200 for about a year now and have no complaints with it whatsoever. it lets me go browse back and forward by programming the scroll button (push the scroller left for back, and right for forward) and works from an adequate distance fromthe receiver.

I've got the v500 and v400 and v200 and hands down the best mouse
for simple point and click is the v200.
v500 is low-slung, cool, solid and responsive. Best looking mouse, but the
scroll device sucks.
v400 looks kinda flimsy and feels so too. Despite the " Dual Laser Engine",
it's the least responsive.
v200 is a bit more of a high rider than the other two, but very solid and most responsive and looks good. Feels very solid and precise in hand.
Chose between the V--0 mice.
