I have a few old IBM keyboards and Mice that are starting to yellow and get a bit dirty ... well they have always been dirty and I was too afraid to clean them. Not on the key caps, but the major bulky plastic parts. Can I clean this with something like Comet (or your generic powder bleach)?

My only concern is that it would be too abrasive and get rid of the texture.

    Any solutions?

I'm planning on cleaning up some of my vintage equipment and selling it for other vintage equipment.
