I got a Clevo with an i7 6820HK and 970M 3GB and I was wondering if I could use my 120w charger and play games with my laptop. Similar MSI and ASUS models with 970Ms and i7 6820HKs also have 120w chargers.

I wouldn't recomment it. You'll be stressing the PSU out constantly and it would frankly be scary. You can try and downgrade to a 150W PSU if you run stock GPU and undervolted 6820HK, otherwise if you OCed anything, 180W no less.

I assume you want to have 120W because it's a smaller brick.

Yes my my i7 is undervolted by -144 mV. Why do similar models from MSI and ASUS have 120w bricks?

becayse they don't. I don't know where you got that info from. There is no way in hell that MSI or Asus have 120W bricks for 6820HK + 970M models.

The CPU is around 45W on non turbo and the GPU is stock at 75W. The rest of the system also needs a couple of watts, so there is no way 120W will ever be sufficient.

180w seems to little for that config IMO
