I think it will work with already bought stuff, as long as it works through 2.4GHz.

Maybe it would be with the Nano ones, but I doubt it. The new connector would use encrypted connection to communicate with the devices. As far as I'm aware, current gadgets are lacking this option (excluding MX-5500, but it's BT based).

Um, that looks like a micro bluetooth dongle and bluetooth is already central to any device that supports it.... so sounds like they are just pulling a fast one making there own protocol/version of bluetooth that will auto pair with there branded equipment.

With my internal bluetooth I have had a mouse a pair of headphones and my wiimote all connected at once with no dongle at all.

So why is this supposed to be impressive again?

Great post. Not a bad idea if all your peripherals happen to belong to the Logitech family. I sure hope that someone, or some company, releases a third party software that enables even non-Logitech devices to be connected. I mean, what if you only wanted the K350 Logitech Keyboard, but are using a Razer wireless mouse? So you'd have to throw your Razer away and purchase a Logitech gaming mouse instead?

However, I'm very impressed with the newly quoted Battery Life claims. Logitech has proven to be competent in maximizing battery life (with my personal experience with their mice). Now, three-years of Battery Life? That's quite impressive.

By the way, is that Logitech Wireless Mouse M505 exactly the same shape, size, and material composition as the previous V series? I have a Logitch V450 and there is a very odd, clone-like similarity between both...
