    hello all,
    i own a Logitech G5

    i can play both @2000dpi and 3.5 in-game sensitivity and @800dpi and 11.0 in-game sensitivity...

wanted to know that which is better?
    1. high dpi and low in-game sensitivity? or
    2. low dpi and high in-game sensitivity?

    please do reply!

    thanks in advance!

I don't have a G5; I have a Razer DeathAdder and I run it at Max (1800 DPI ?) DPI settings in Windows and run sensitivity of 5.3 in CS 1.6

I like to have my mouse go fast :)

But to answer your question, I would say it's best to go High DPI/Low Sensitivity in-game, so that you're scaling down, not up.

just fyi, You can do edit, then delete. :)

I used to have a gaming mouse until it died on me, I think it was the wireless version of the last gen of the logitech G5. I use max DPI and low sensitivity, because it just feel much smoother that way, and I don't have to move the mouse as much physically. I move like 1-1.5 cm and I can do a 360 degree turn, it gets me dizzy all the time. :D
