Can someone suggest me best fit laptop bag for Compaq V2000z series under $50?. I have a good laptop bag, but it is too big and heavy. I am looking for one which is light, good fit for V2000/DV1000 series. Just need to have some space for power adapter, a mouse and couple of CDs.

    Thanks

I think I want to buy standard laptop bag rather a backpack( which I already have one with laptop pouch).

    Any other pointers?

What's your budget? I originally had a Tumi messenger bag, which was great... but it was hard carrying it for extended periods.

Nope, I did not buy 12 cell option as I want it as light as possible.

The one at Tigerdirect looks good to me based on photos. I will try to find that model at local stores and see how it look and feel in person. If I like it then probably buy this one( I wish it is more lighter).

    Thanks

Thanks for tip. But I was wondering how about a extact fit sleeve. I saw some with 2 side pockets, and a handle( not shoulder strap). If I want to carry for long, I could drop it into my nice small backpack which I already have. This way it won't be too big and heavy. any suggestion?

    I originally bought this:

so that I could stick it in another bag. It fit decently (had to get the 15.4" version because of the V2000Z's widescreen) and the padding was adequate... though I wouldn't trust it to protect my notebook from much.
