Has anyone had any luck connecting BT Headphones up to a Sony S-Series Laptop? I just got a S-580 which has the Toshiba BT Module. I tried connecting BT headphones up, but the BT Manager can not find the device.
It could be my headphones, just got the Logitech MP3 BT Headphones which come with a headphone jack adapter. I was hoping I could use the headphones without the adapter.
Are there any other Stereo BT headphones?

Does the stack you're using support the headset profile?

Well I guess my Fujitsu S7020 with internal bluetooth won't work either with these headsets (same Toshiba hardware as the sony). I was really hoping to have a bluetooth headset!!!

Not sure if the stack I'm using supports the headphones profile or not. The BT for this laptop is under Network Adapters in Device Manager, and is listed as Bluetooth Personal Area Network from Toshiba. Hardware ID is Bluetooth\0004&0007.

Thanks for the Link, I will try another headset and backup my laptop before attempting page 1 from that site.

That motorola set looks nice. I saw it last week, but realized it wasn't available anywhere. Stick to the motorola's, I may be sending the Logitech's back and waiting. People have also had problems with the headband snapping in half after limited use. The plastic seems pretty flimsy.
I tried connecting to my hx4705 Pocket PC, and there is a profile for headsets, but it doesn't want to connect to that either. So, I'm thinking Logitech's headphones needs the adapter.

Got the Logitech's working, I bought a pair of HP BT Headphones, and the instructions are either written a little better or I missed it in the Logitech's Manual. It seems you push the power on button for 15+ seconds until the LED flashes Blue and Red. Worked great with the HP's, so tried it with the Logitech's and walla connected without the headphone adapter. The Logitech's fit my head a little tighter, so if you have a big head it may be worthwile to get the HP headphones, plus the headphones are $99 but they do not include a headphone adapter.
