Control laptop from bed with a wireless video game controller?

Can you help me find the products that most closely resemble this?

    - wireless controller you can control your laptop from bed
    - this combined with avegant glyph or another headmounted display will let me control my laptop completely from my bed
    - typing abilities would be fantastic. some elegant solution to be able to type with a two handed controller like a video game controller
    - I know some people accomplish something similar to this with stands and arms and mini tables with mice and keyboards around their bed though I am looking for a more elegant solutions
    - basically I want to jump into bed, strap on a head mounted display, grab a controller

    and

    well

    Go places

Well, I'm not too sure about the keyboard setup that you could use, but I use a Logitech M515 "Couch Mouse" to use my mouse while in bed, which is enough to browse Youtube and whatnot.

You could consider something like a wireless Xbox 360 controller and it's PC adapter plug. Then plug in the 360 controller keyboard if you want.

It's be cheaper and way easier to do what I did. Buy a 3' x 3' piece of plywood (or any other wood) and cut it down to size. Then sand it smooth and stain/polyurethane it. It makes a fantastic bedside laptop table.

Trying to control with a game controller is an exercise in futility. It would be easier to get a wireless keyboard with a trackpad built in.

    +1

    Or a keyboard with built-in track-point.

Someone must have jerrrigged something where you can control the computer while lying down and not having to tense any muscles or sit up. Lying down on back. Or on front. Or on side.

If you have seen any pictures of something like that, could you please link them?

Basically I want to put on something like a avegant glyph, lie down, and just totally escape from my surroundings. Not have to move, not have to sit up or support my own weight.

When I'm on my computer for a long time, my back eventually starts to hurt or my neck does. Yes, I know ergonomics this and that but if I could browse the web completely limp in bed that would be awesome.
