My old HD casing chip was causing corrupted transfers so i bought an entire new casing (the old casing was a cheap alumunium casing)...

The new Casing i bought was Cooler Master X craft 250 Lite

Has anyone used it or any reviews about it?..
It looks really cool...has heat vents, Shock resistant mounting (the HD rests on rubber pads) ...

It has a large Blue LED also.

& most important a Cypress Chipset

But my question: Does a HD really Heat up enough to get damaged? ..i use External HD's a lot so can someone tell me
