I currently have two XPS 15 laptops. One is an i5 and the other an i7. Both are used at home for basic school and office work. Some occasional travel.
No gaming, no heavy apps. So I assume my cooling needs aren't excessive. Still, I assume cooling down the units to some degree can only be beneficial.
With this in mind I am looking for a cooler that is comfortable when used on a lap, and is easy to travel with. I was thinking a CoolerMaster NotePal U2 might fit my needs. What about these passive coolers I am seeing?
Opinions, suggestions? Thanks.

what bothers you that make you want a cooler ? The only reason I want a cooler is the fan noise and you didn't mention it.
So I think you can save the money. I fail to see having extra cooling would benefit in anyway(if it is not noticeable). -
Nothing bothers me, chimpanzee. I'm just looking to protect and prolong my laptops.
Not sure what you mean when you wrote, "The only reason I want a cooler is the fan noise and you didn't mention it." -

Here's the one I recommend. Got it for 25bucks at staples.
