Well, im off to find a cooler for another laptop I got. Its a 17" HP dv9500z.

Now, it gets harder. I need it to have a closed bottom. I read a review on here of the enermax aeolus cooler, and it has no bottom. this is the same with the nzxt thingy i was looking at as well. Im using this always on my bed. I need something that has a bottom to it, that doesnt need any air intake from th bottom. does anyone of you know of one?

Another tricky thing is i want to spend UNDER 40 buckers. I know thats were all my choices get cut off. Because any good coolers, i think, are at least 60 and stuff. like the nzxt one, and i looked at the nc2000 zalman, but i wasnt sure if that took intake from the bottom, and i think it was like 60 buckers too. so, im strapped here.

    Anyone can help ?

u won't be disappointed with the cryo LX. the front part can fold under for easier portability. this feature also creates a base, so u can use the cooler on soft surfaces as well.

another good cooler that might be able to be used on some soft surfaces, would be the cooler master infinite. the infinite's intake vents are located on the back of the cooler instead of the bottom.

just keep in mind that u get what u pay for. the cryo LX, to me, is worth every penny. i can't think of another cooler on the market that can match the cryo LX's build quality/material. i will be keepin this cooler for forever. the only reason i would ever get rid of it is if they come out with an updated version. u can't say that about very many (if any other) cooler.
