    Hi guys,

    I'm looking for a cooling pad for HP 8710p.

    Here's a "guide" on how the heat is distributed:

    Top/inside picture:

    As you can see there's only one (large) fan in the top left corner, with 3 ways to distribute the heat:
    - back
    - left
    - bottom (largest/most heat coming out of here)

    Which cooler would be the best for this type of laptop/cooling system?

    Just elevate the back side, get some sort of usb fan to blow the air through the bottom to dissipate the heat. Or you can remove the battery and run it on power supply alone. That brick gives out loads of heat also.

    Thanks for suggestions mate. To be honest, I've been thinking more about a cooler that would suck the air from the laptop, but then again, I'm not an expert :eek:

    Yup, kinda sucks D: Its 39.2 wide, when the cooler is 38...
