    Cooling pad for Lenovo Y510p

    So , I just have a laptop Lenovo y510p (i7 and single gt755m), and the summer it is around the corner so I want to buy a cooling pad , my question it is the Cooler Master NotePal U3 Plus a good one?, I like that I can use as only pad, change the coolers...I don't care if it is have usb power or wallet power...

    Is this for use on a desktop / table, or for use in your lap? If for use in your lap, consider something like the Lapinator:

    I've been using these since they first became available ~10 years ago. They're comfortable and do a nice job of keeping the heat out of where it doesn't belong (your lap, and the other bodily attributes in its vicinity!).

    I am using the Notepal U3 plus, works great on my SLI Y510P.

    Note: I did not use the USB fans included in the package but rather use a standard 120MM AC power fan which have delivers a strong airflow to the laptop.

    As the U3 plus is huge and fits the Y510p easily, I have installed 2 of the 120mm AC fans and it works great in managing heat.

    Interesting, I see when will come, maybe I will change the fan too...
