I am looking for a cooling pad for my 14.5" HP envy with four extra usb ports for around $30 (if there is something cheaper that would be awesome). I would prefer something quieter that pushes a good amount of air. Both usb and ac power would be fine. Would it be cheaper/better to just get a seperate hub and cooler?

I have a cooler master ergostand that I used with my old Sager, it has around 4 extra usb ports and allows you to adjust the height of the laptop. Worked well for me. I think I paid $35 for it :)

+1 on the Ergostand. The fan speed is adjustable, integral cord management for the USB cords, and I haven't needed to pick up an AC adapter for it yet - well worth the money
