I'm looking for a nice desk to put my new computer on. I'd prefer a modern-style one (glass/metal, something black, silver, or clear, etc), which wouldn't go over $200. I found one at Best Buy for $153 [IMG]

That's something like what I'm looking for. But it's built for desktops, with the little keyboard pullout and everything. I don't need that (I'm not planning on using any external accessories, and those parts would just get in my way). Any suggestions?

Even if you don't plan on using it for a desktop, I still suggest that desk. :D (That's the one I'm hoping to purchase myself. You have good taste. ;))

I do, however, have an alternative suggestion.

Studio RTA Portofina Computer Desk with 2 Side Shelves - Black [$108 from Best Buy w/current sale]

Comments: The picture shows the lower section of the desk being used for a desktop, but it could obviously be used for various other things. It's by the same brand, so you're in luck. ;)

There are plenty of computer desks out there, but unfortunately, few are modern-looking and most have keyboard pull-outs.

    Good luck.

The Ikea jerker desk is pretty nice with or without all the extra add ons you can get. It comes in a metal or wood finish as well.

If you don't like the keyboard tray, you should be able to put the desk together without it.

Don't install the keyboard tray then?

I got a desk that is the same shape as that
(L-desk), except an added shelf on the right side for more storage, and is a maple wood color. (right side on mine also seems longer).

    and only $90.
