    Copy text out of a book into a word document

    I know there is a device that will allow me to scan text out of a book into a word document. Can someone help me find what it's called. I can't seem to find it on google.

    Well if I can use a flatbed scanner what program could I use to turn the scanned image into text?

    No, I need something where it can rip the text to beable to copy and paste where ever I want.

    Yes I think it can do that. I remember doing that with that program years ago.
