I must say the vengence keyboard does look interesting, they seemed to have done their research on getting the best gaming keyboard. MX reds, very comfortable ergonomic wristwrest as well as NKRO over USB looks pretty darn impressive, if only it came backlit and was tenkeyless i would purchase it in an instant.

I'm interested in the Corsair K60 for its design, the addition of proper media keys and also the interesting handrest approach, I'll buy one when it's available here. However I already have e.g. Filco Limited R's and while they're probably the best of the bunch in terms of Cherrys for gaming, I'm not wedded to having reds - or mechanicals - for gaming.

As long as the keyboard arent chiclet scissor switches, rubber-domes and mech's make little difference in gaming as far as keystrokes are concerned. But having that all rounded keyboard is important to me, and Cherry Red and Brown seem to be the best at both worlds in typing and gaming to me.

The K90 is backlit by the looks while the K60 isn't. If I had some money right now, I would seriously consider the K90. Its looks are amazing and it uses durable materials in its design and construction.

Sure I heard the Red's aren't the best keyboard setup for a first-timer in mechanicals, I feel like the ample media and macro control makes up for it.

You can get used to anything given time,i started my mech kb experience with black switches. The hand rest for wasd actually looks like something with ergonomics in mind , well if it can keep your rist in a straight position, it'll have served it's purpose.

Exactly, anything you use will make you get used to it. Apparently many people these days are just too ignorant or lazy to adapt to anything new. Technically I can get used to a claw-grip mouse coming from a palm-grip mouse easily, but it is always more convenient to get something you already have gotten used to then forcing yourself to adapt.

I am sure the Reds will be sufficient if you take some time using it...
