What wireless headphones? Thats the question.
Some work with usb, some work with analog, some work with bluetooth.
The headphones determine if it will work more so than the soundcard. -
Wireless wise I'm thinking of this: Amazon.com: Sennheiser RS 160 Over-Ear Digital Wireless Headphone: Electronics
Wire wise this: Amazon.com: Sony MDR-NC60 Noise Canceling Headphone: Electronics
And this: DJDeals.com - ULTRASONE HFI-700 HEADPHONES (LIMITED EDITION) FREE SHIPPING!
The question isn't because I determined to buy a wireless headphone. I just thought it would be a bad idea to buy a 100$ audio card and not being able to use wireless headphone if I choose to.
Anyway, which one do you recommend of the 3? And is the wireless headphone supported by the audio card? (in case you recommend it) -

Man I want to ship the items from the USA to Egypt to my country... big process, do I have the right to be in a little rush? And... wait, do I even have to explain myself to such a nice person like you?
-
@w4j3d
You can wait for an answer. Getting your items from the USA to your country is no reason to post again within 4 hours of starting your thread. Then again, we all would like quick responses, but if you want a good response, then you'll have to learn to wait patiently. Besides, it's going to takes days to get your items shipped to you. I'm pretty sure you can afford to wait a day in order to assess before you purchase.
That aside, you will not be able to use wireless headphones with an internal/external sound card unless the wireless device, that outputs to the wireless headphones, can be plugged into an analog jack on the external sound card. If the wireless headphones have some sort of USB adapter, then it will never work with external or internal sound cards. -

The Senns your looking at use Analog connection so it can/will work with an external sound card.

And no please don't waste my time trying to explain yourself. I could care a less. Would be a waste of your precious time, obviously. -
You could talk like a regular person talking to a regular person. You don't need to say "calm down" as if you're talking to a kid.
It's not really "kool" to talk like that...it's only offensive.
Anyway...
@metril
Actually I said I'm gonna ship from USA to Egypt to my country. So I meant to show that it will take time. I just wanted to get a quick answer as I've been trying to figure out what to purchase before I send the shipment. It's been about two weeks you know. I just wanted a quick answer and I didn't push anyone to answer me, I just asked if anyone could answer me quickly.
Thank you ViciousXUSMC. Thank you metril and s2odin.
@s2odin, which of the three headphones would you prefer? (if your cool now) -

If you really want wireless headphones, then just buy the Logitech G930's and be done with it. They plug in to a USB port, process surround sound, and operate wirelessly.
There is no advantage to buying a separate sound card + wireless headphones versus buying a Logitech G930. You don't get better sound quality (with the components you are considering buying) or surround effects by buying separate components. -
"he is merely telling you the forum rules"
He said, "Yes but per forum rules one bump per 24 hours." Which I understood as, well, "I can bump once every 24 hours", which is all I did.
And telling me the rules doesn't mean he should talk to me offensively.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The G930 seems great. Has quality sound, comfortable, and wireless.
But there are some issues mentioned on Amazon.
1) "wireless internet issue."
2) "driver issues."
3) turns off every 10 minutes. Some said even when watching movies. Some others said when no voice is coming. I'm confused now.
4) Mic has some problems, but I don't use it.
5) Not really an issue: this has similar features to the sound card but it's software, so it's not as good. Well, I don't want to pay that much if it just does a similar job. And also I haven't ever used surround system, so I'll feel good anyway.
I will keep looking for reviews and solutions to the problems. -

Just saw the G930 on sale for like half price the other day, forgot where I saw that deal so not sure if its still live or not.
Think it was direct from logitec via coupon code. -
Logitech forums are full of G930 issues.
Here is one more issue "G930 sound cutting out" - reported by many users.
I was so excited to get this, it is really great and I don't even need the mic. Now I'm so turned-off!
I will look for similar products without, at least, the cutting and the turning off every 10 minutes problems. -
re: Headphones - the complaints you have are complaints that you will find about any set of wireless headphones... wireless interference, dropping the wireless connection, etc. And to be honest, most of the time, the problem is that the person writing the review is being an idiot and using the product incorrectly.
If you were serious about getting a pair of non-surround headphones that focused on sound quality, you'd get a pair of wired headphones. In the headphone world, wireless headphones are generally considered to be inferior when it comes to sound quality.
And if you're not going to be using the headphones for surround sound, then why bother getting a Creative Labs X-Fi 5.1 USB sound card? The major benefit of that sound card when connected to headphones is that it does virtual surround downmixing into 2-channel headphones. If you're buying a pair of stereo wireless headphones, for use on stereo playback, you're not going to notice any difference with a Creative Labs SB1090 sound card. Any benefits you get in sound quality over onboard sound are going to be lost once you connect wireless headphones to the sound card. -
Does that mean that every computer-related product ever made is a piece of junk? Or does it just mean that the few people who are unfortunate enough to have an issue are just being a very vocal minority about their problems? -
I want surround system, and I want to try every "realism" feature, I want a new experience. Will I notice anything getting better when using the Creative sound card with HFI-170 wired headphones?
What I was saying that as I never used anything professional when it comes to sound, I will probably be happy with the software surround system the G930 has although the hardware surround system the creative sound card is supposedly better.
I would love to have wireless headphones. But I think I can sacrifice one feature for everything else being perfect.
I set my mind up to getting the HFI-170 (wire) headphones with the aforementioned sound card for now, while I'll be looking for better (and maybe something wireless) options. -
I'm talking about issues related to the headphone itself. Turning off every 10 minutes if no sound is coming is a really annoying issue in the headphone itself. No noise-canceling (which it is advertised to do so) is also an issue in the product itself, not because of lack of support from the OS not knowing how to turn the feature on or anything like that.
------------- -
You should probably give these a shot. There's not too many out there that will suit your needs. -
I purchased them, now waiting for shipping.
It's a power saving feature but it's annoying. The headphones are capable of 10 hours without charging, at least they could increase the time.
I just got really worried cause someone said it's useless when watching movies (in that it will stop every 10 minutes and you'll have to stop the movie and get backward etc...) but that turns out to be untrue.
Actually what is degrading this item in rating on Amazon is mostly the non-working noise canceling feature. But I just mentioned it because it's not working, not because I'm interested in it. I will probably not even use the mic.
Thank you all, and thank you ViciousXUSMC for telling me about the coupon, I just had to purchase the item from Amazon.
Could USB sound cards work with wireless headphones?
