Ok...I'm going to make my own notebook cooler with the following fan:

I was simply wondering....is there any adapter cables that plugs into this fan's cables, so I can plug it into my USB port, or even in a normal electricity plug on a wall?
I basically want an adapter for this fan so I can either plug it into the wall or in my USB port...and since I might have 2 or three of these fans, is there such an adapter which splits into 3?
thank you

Just splice it into the 5v lines on a standard USB cable. Be sure not to draw more than 500mAh per USB port though...

I was just about to say that, you will burn the USB port.

jpfalet,
make sure you take lots of pictures and share your experience with us! I was highly considering doing exactly the same thing
I look forward to see the end result

One more thought, try to put more than one fan, redundancy can help you to keep going on in case of one fan breaks.

Redundancy is not really an issue on a notebook cooler fan. You'd notice if it failed whereas you wouldn't notice a failed fan inside of a desktop computer.
-
That's not my point, if you put just one fan like some current coolers, then if it breaks you will be without the cooler until you replace the fan, but if you have two or even 3 fans, then if one breaks, you don't have to rush and buy another fan, comprende?
