I bought a AC/DC power adapter to replace my other adapter that broke. The only problem with it is that the wire between the power brick and my laptop is short. I need to buy a longer dc cord for the adapter. I was trying to search on ebay for one, but I don't know the name/what to call it.

Hey, I don't believe you can just buy it separately. I believe you are going to have to buy a whole new Power Adapter... :(

And, then invest in a extension cord at the same time ;)

I don't see why not. The dc cord that came with the power adapter fit fine with the replacement (it was longer than the one sent to me).
