guys i was wondering what is the difference b/w adjustable DPI and the mouse sensitivity option in the mouse settings in control panel...are they the same thing???if so then whats the difference b/w a 800DPI mouse and a 1600 one???cant u just increase the sensitivity in mouse settings to make a 800 mouse move equally as fast as a 1600 one??

DPI is a physical measurement of how sensitive your optical/laser/infrared mouse is. Sensitivity is a software calculation after the signal's been picked up.
