I came across some Dakine packs while browsing online and I just loved the styling. :p I currently use a Jansport Lamark (Jansport makes ridiculously good bags) but I'm thinking to buy either the Dakine Mission or the Heli Pro as a smaller, lightweight pack for hauling odds and ends next year on a college campus. :)

I've owned mediocre "skate" backpacks in the past like the original Nike SB pack but I'm hoping a Dakine might be able to take some abuse. A major problem with many of my past backpacks is splitting or coming unstitched at the seams. Does anyone have experience with Dakine products or can anyone comment on their quality?

Any advice or discussion is welcome!

I have a Dakine backpack not exactly sure what model it is but it has been great since 2007. My seams are great still and I have experienced tears with other "skate" bags from my usage. I have had my laptop+ xbox 360 in my backpack and lots of heavy stuff and it is still great. I really like the quality of my Dakine backpack. I need to find out what model it is.
