Decent, cheap Headset, bluetooth would be cool too.

Mainly because my roommate has the issue where he has to change some settings every time he unplugs his headset otherwise no sound of his laptop speakers. Vista drivers aren't that good for his.

    Ideas?

I don't want to spend more than 50 bucks

Plantronics makes some good bluetooth headsets, some of which cost under $50.

Plantronics is probably my favorite brand when it comes to headsets aswell.

If you have a good pair of earphones already, you can always just get a 5$ microphone. For gaming I like to use my Audio Technica A700's wich are high end earphones, if I play a game with voice like Team Fortress 2 I take my little walmart 5$ earphone earpiece and just slide it under the cushion of my earphones and make a headset out of it. If you dont have good earphones for it or cant find that kind of mic the kind that pin to your shirt or something would be good, or just a good ol' desktop microphone would work aswell.

The Plantronics Explorer and Discovery bluetooth headsets are quite popular.

Suppose I wanted one that more like a headphone, what would I be looking at?
