    Hello everyone,
recently just got a dv6tqe-7000, and it's the first 'premium' laptop I've owned; that being said, I want to take really good care of it and make sure it is in top condition. So of course, I decided to go look for a case. I was hoping people here could help make some recommendations, but here are some key points I'm looking for:

    1) This might be obvious, but it has to protect my laptop: At least I'm hoping to prevent it from scratches, but it would be FANTASTIC if it could even protect it from bumps or even drops.

    2) It has to be lightweight/can't take up too much space. I will be storing it in my backpack when I'm moving my laptop; so it can't take up a large amount of space since I will also have books in there also.

    3) In the title of this thread, I said case/sleeve. I think I'm looking more for a sleeve but I would love it if it could double as a case. (Sleeve as in protection when I'm moving the laptop around and case as in protection for it I'm using it stationary). This might not be too important though or even impossible since when it's stationary I tend to use a laptop cooler so the case would block the cooler.

    3) I'd prefer not to break the bank when attempting to buy this. $30 is kind of pushing it for me, $20 is my comfort zone, and $10 would be great.

I've got one suggestion on these forums about the ZeroShock III which I found on Amazon for $10. It already sounds like a great deal to me. But I'd love to hear more suggestions or thoughts on the suggested product. Thanks!

Bumping this topic just once before letting it go; would really like to find a sleeve/case mostly to prevent scratches. Key things I'm looking for to summarize:

+ Light and skinny. Want to keep this on most times and in my backpack so it can't be bulky.
+ At the least, it should protect from scratches. Protection from bumps or drops would be a BIG PLUS. Any resistances like water would be a nice touch too.
+ Looking to spend $20 at the most but ignore my budget for now.

You'd think companies would do a better job in support this industry but sadly they don't I already begun searching for a sleeve for my next lappy tappy (hope to update this fall) and can't find a thing. Maybe the do a better job of the 15" an below but for desktop replacements there's none to choose from. I never did get well fitting sleeve for my HDX and it look like the 17" is going to get lefted out too.
