Hi everyone. Well first off, im new here. And im looking forward to being part of this community..

Ok, ive been looking at buying a laptop cooler for my xps m170. Its been generating massive amounts of heat lately, especially on the GPU side. I read the manual, and noticed that the fan was smaller than the CPU's. So i think ive narrowed it down to 2 coolers. The Titan TTC-G4TZ and the NZXT Cryo LX. I was wondering if anybody has tested both of them enough to make a pretty good judgment on which one is better at keeping my machine cool. Any help would be great. thanks. One more thing, does the NZXT blow air up or does it suck it down. :D

The NZXT Cryo LX is blowing it up. Take a peek at the Zalman aswell since they run quite a bit quieter then the NZXT.

Yup, Zalman NC1000 or NC2000. I just took a look at the 2000 in store today but I'm hesitant to buy due to price.

Other one that looks good is the Belkin Cooling Pad.

Both are discussed here in this forum.

As a matter of fact, when i first started looking at coolers, i was looking at the Zalman, but i dont know if the fan speed is great. I really dont know much about that but i assume the higher RPM the better. The Zalman has 1000 to 1500. Is this good?

It is a blower. Even with 2300 rpm, the fans are almost inaudible.
