Not sure if should ask this in dell forum here, but seem this suit better~~

Just revived a u2711 from a ebay seller(not persoal seller), checking service tag , the monitor still have plenty of warranty, but my research seem to say I must have original owner info to transfer?
Any 1 have any exception or experience?

Edit: also any one know a good stand for this? It was sold with a dell stand that is not for the u2711(no adjustment. probably the cheap 19" one if I read the label right) and my 2212hm stand doesnt fit zzz.

Hello, Baiii, you are correct. You'll need a few details concerning the original owner in order to transfer ownership/warranty of your monitor.
Details you'll need are their first and last name and ZIP code.

Here's the form you'll need to fill:
    Ownership-Tag Transfer | Dell
This can also be done by calling Dell, but i recommend using the form.
