Hi, I've just got my new inspiron e1505 and also got with it a tv tuner.

What I would like to do with it is to watch videos from my computer on my tv directly with media center.

How can I do that because the instruction tell me how to send the tv on the laptop and not the inverse.

I have everything including RGB Video audio cable.

    Thanks for answering

You don't need the tuner to watch tv on a regular tv; you need a cable that goes from the s-video port (black circular port w/ 7 pins) on the back of the laptop to the tv.

Well, I want to see my laptop screen on tv. The 7pin you are talking about is Svideo I presume. If I don't have s-video on my tv, is there another way?

Use an s-video to composite cable to the video composite port on your TV. Can then send the sound through the headphone jack on the laptop using a 3.5mm stereo jack to 2 RCA port audio cable to the audio left and right composite port on your TV
