I bought this mouse and managed to pair with my HP's built in Bluetooth. Everything works like charm and whenever I switch on the mouse, the notebook will automatically detect the BT mouse and it can be used automatically.

If I'm not mistaken, this mouse comes with Setpoint utility. Should I install it to enable more functions and settings? I cant use the scroll wheel's left and right currently. Is it because I didn't install Setpoint? Foward and Back works like charm though.

yeah the software will most probably give you the extra functions.

its like that with my logitech mice, windows can detect it as a generic device so it will have the generic functions (all 3 mouse buttons, scroll wheel, and of course move the cursor) but to use the advanced features like being able to map the buttons to different tasks, you need the software.

Can I install Setpoint from Logitech or I can only install Dell's Setpoint?

Yeah. I'm wondering too since the Dell's version of Setpoint is quite old. Hopefully the latest Setpoint supports the mouse.

Just installed SetPoint 4.7. Working great. The setup automatically detected the mouse.
