Hi everyone this is my first time posting on the forums :D

Anyways this is my problem, i had a Dell D530 Laptop but it stopped working like it would not turn on anymore no matter what. so i got rid of it but i kept the Hard Drive, because it has my data on it. What i was woundering was is there like something i can buy so i can connect my Dell Hard Drive to USB or something? i just need to copy my data off of it.
Like i would like to beable to connect my Dell Hard Drive to USB so i can copy stuff of it onto PC. or if there is something so i can connect the Hard Drive to IDE??

Please let me know if there is, i been searching on this forum and google for ages now and not found noting. all i can seem to find is connecting a IDE HDD to Dell Laptop.

Thank you soo much in advancee.

Also this is the Hard Drive i have for my Dell

Hi Valtros and welcome to the forums.

Since you mentioned that you have a Toshiba SATA 80GB hard drive, you can easily turn that into an external hard drive and pull your data off to another computer through a USB cable. Simply purchase a 2.5" SATA external enclosure and you're pretty much set. Any of THESE enclosures will do the trick.
