Hey guys,
I bought an E7240 from Dell's business outlet, and I'm interested in purchasing a docking station. From what I can tell, it's the PR03X, but when I go to Dell's site, I see there's multiple PR03X's (one has USB 3, others don't, etc), and some of them are listed as being compatible with the E7240 (only the XX6F0 & the GNPHP) while others only function with the E5xxx's or E6xxx's. It's weird that they all seem so similar though, will they all actually work with the E7240, or do I need to be pretty careful about picking one out?
Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I would go for something listed as compatible. Take a look on eBay too - I found a dock and extra power supply for the coat of one alone from Dell.

All docks should be compatible, even the ones without USB 3.0 like the PR02X.

Yeah, Dell's direct prices are ridiculous. I saw some for ~$30 shipped used, so I might go with one of those since I don't have any local USB 3.0 devices. Thanks!
EDIT: I bought the PR02X and it works pretty well with the E7240. It doesn't like my Samsung 2343BWX (can only do 1024x768), but it's fine with the rest of my monitors.
