I realize that dimensions are posted on the site but I would like to hear personal accounts as well just to make sure the laptop compartments aren't extremely snug.

I've had my timbuk2 commute messenger housing my Dell 700m for 3 years now and I absolutely love this bag. I tried to fit my m1530 in it but realized it was just not going to happen.

its been a while now and I don't remember what size bag I own or I would just go one size up.

does anyone own a timbuk2 messenger and an m1530? if so are you using a medium or a large?

I saw one the other day, and i am pretty sure it was medium. My HP 8510p would fit in it so the m1530 would be fine. That said, I wasnt too impressed with the padding when compared to my Pakuma Choroka K2...much thicker padding on mine, but the K2's design is essentially a copy of the Timbuk2s... :p
