I don't know if any other dell 600m owners have had cooling problems but I've been searching for a solution. I now have 3 different notebook pads to sell on ebay. None of them really worked to keep my notebook cool- I used software to measure the temperature and warn when it was getting too hot.

The solution ended up being $4. The only thing that's worked so far is a fan blowing down on the left top of the notebook. I got a little portable one and since then I've had no more warnings about overheating.

What are the 3 notebook pads you've tried so far?
