I ordered a monitor from Dell over a week ago and it has been "in production" since the day of order till now (one day before the estimated delivery date). I mean, shouldn't they at least send an email saying it's going to be late?
And as far as I know, the product was still available when I ordered, so I doubt it it's a stock issue.

They have been experiencing a lot of technical errors with the orders ever since the Black Friday deals. My order had done this exact same thing, but it was for a laptop, and it had to be reordered three times before it actually went through properly. I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but you may want to call.
It sounds to me like it is out of stock. -
But yeah I think I'll give them a call today -
Definitely call them. Each time I ordered from Dell, their ETA was close if not right on. I hope you get it figured out!

Called them and support guy said it was going to be delayed till January 14th. Apparently the item was high on demand.
However, later in the day the order status updated and it said the item was "shipped", assigned with a tracking number as well.
Uh, error in their system? lol -
Dell does a lot of things well, but I would not say that order fulfillment is one of them. If you have a working tracking number, I would imagine that you're all set.
-
Well hopefully you get it soon! I haven't ordered from Dell in a while... maybe I should at least wait until the holidays are over lol
-
Yup, I tracked my number on the purolator website and it's on "In Transit in U.S. via U.S.A. GROUND LINEHAUL depot"
I'm guessing it's going to take a few days before it arrives, since it's cross-border ground transportation with an upcoming weekend
Thanks for the insight everyone!
Dell's ETA accurate or not?
