Hey guys, I've been kinda in the market for a desk for my computer. I have a desktop and noted earlier in another thread I am also getting a laptop.
I want a desk that's fairly cheap. 100-200 bucks. I want to have room for the tower, monitor, speakers, a sliding keyboard shelf, and lots and lots of space for writing. Quality isn't a big issue. Just something durable and somewhat stylish.
Now I've been looking at the following.

I don't have a lot room to work with though. I can't have a complete even L shaped desk.
Any suggestions?

If you want lots of space, L-shaped desks suck. They look practical, but they're not. Get a big, wide rectangular desk. Don't center your desktop on it, put it off to one side. Those are my recomendations.

Try IKEA. They usually have some good stuff. I wouldn't really look for "computer tables" per se, I'd look for something that's big, and see if I can fit everything in there.
