I'm eyeing on these two headsets due to its rave reviews. However one is a USB and the other is a normal headphone input. The USB is 20$ more than the normal one.

Any noticeable increase in quality in terms of USB/Jack? I'd like some experiences as well from users who have the headset :)

    Thanks :D

USB has a discrete smaller sound card built in I would think, while the jack one uses your onboard sound card.

    USB should sound better IMO

^Pretty much. USB headsets essentially have their own sound card, so they'll pretty much sound the same no matter what they're plugged into. A 3.5mm jack headset is dependent on the sound card of the computer it's being plugged into. If you have really bad onboard sound, it would probably behoove you to get a USB headset. If your onboard sound is good or you have a good dedicated sound card, then it will probably sound better than the USB version.

Odds are you won't really notice a difference unless your computer has really high-end audio. Onboard audio is pretty decent these days.

Okay, how about if I have a Creative X-FI USB external sound card? Plugging the jack version would yield me similar results to the USB I presume?
