This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     one is designed for a notebook the other is more for a desktop. they are pretty much the same quality wise (carl zeiss lens,8mp)

    I believe the desktop one is a tad better but the notebook one is more portable

    Oh ok. Yeah I have a laptop so obviously I may get the laptop one.

    A tad expensive though...I may settle for something cheaper

    dont you have one built-in?

    if your just gonna use a regular chatting program like MSN messenger. Megapixel quality doesnt really count because the quality is capped for faster streaming.

    Unfortunately I don't have one built in. I was short on money at the time, so I didn't get webcam/bluetooth/a few other things I wanted.

    I later got bluetooth for 10 bucks though :)
