The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Display protection adive needed

    Hi, how can I protect my display from scratches?

    1. Don't touch it, or let anyone touch it.
    2. Notebooks ship with padding or a clear sheet protecting the screen. When you close the notebook, put this back in to prevent the keys from scratching the screen. This may or may not be an issue depending on the notebook.

    Cant I put some adhesive screen protection on the display, as with LCD Desktop Displays?
