    Do neoprene/wetsuit sleeves shrink when washed/dried?

    ^title. I am thinking about doing this to a sleeve to make it a better fit, although I am unsure if the synthetic material will really shrink.

    What about trying to apply *heat* to it first? Maybe using a blowdryer?

    I think the the only way to shrink neoprene is with heat as Cin' says. I think it takes quite a lot of heat to do it.

    BTW I'm sure you weren't going to try this with a laptop inside, but just in case somebody else is reading this, that would be a very bad idea :eek:

    Yes, I think when applying *heat* it would be best on a *flat* surface*..or physically held in hand *the sleeve itself*, nothing else contained w/in! ;)
