    Hi,

I'm going to list out my dream accessories - if any of y'all know if they exist, please give a shout!

Mouse: I've been wanting a mouse that I don't need a desk to use. I'm almost picturing something like the movie Minority Report, but not near that fancy. Ok, so I just did some googling and realize this is called an Air Mouse. So given that, has anyone used one or know of any good ones?

External Graphics Card: I'm pretty sure they don't exist, but why not?

Cheap alternative to a Sony SZ docking station: Well, I know they exist, but I'm not paying $165 for one.

    Thanks!

external GPU's exist, but they only display to an external monitor
I know Asus has some sort of external GPU but I haven't paid that much attention to them.

Mouse: It probably exists somewhere, but it won't really be that ergonomical and fun to use for long periods of time.

External GPU: They exist only to a certain point due to the bandwidth limitations of the ExpressSlot. They should be slowly coming out within the year at around $500-$900 depending on which brand.

Dock: You pay for a SONY, expect SONY prices for the notebook and all its peripherals unfortunately. There are 3rd party docks but none compare to the docks some notebooks were made to use.

I have a small little program that can use a Wiimote as a mouse via bluetooth

if you google something like "use your wiimote /wii remote on your laptop.

the hard part is finding a wiimote, if you have been paying attention to console gaming, there VERY hard to find...

XG Station is the Asus external GPU

only sony docking stations will work with sony computers.

Hey, i have an air mouse. the one i have is probably from the leading brand, gyration. it is great, you can use it in the air or on a desk because it also acts as a normal optical mouse. you can find some on ebay.

I have a gyration wireless air mouse for my Media PC that's hooked up to my HDTV. It works pretty well, but the gyroscopes inside are sensitive so you don't ever want to drop it (I had a similar one almost 10 years ago that stopped working after it was dropped).

There IS an alternative - for the longest time I've preferred these handheld trackballs that you hold in your palm. You move the cursor around with a trackball under your thumb and left and right clicks are done by trigger buttons underneath your index and middle fingers.

I use these when I just want to kick back and surf the net without being hunched over the desk.

I just ordered a couple of these . They're not wireless, but they're cheap enough and I never have to worry about batteries for them.

The only sure way to get cramps is if you poke poke poke poke someone a few thousand of times a day when they see you.
