I just bought a XPS M1330 and will receice it in a couple of days (it seems the french version are ready to ship in about 5 days). I'm now looking for a dock with video (VGA) in order to use this machine as my desktop when I'm working at home. My screen is a 19''. I have seen bad and good things about all of them. Which one would be the best? Kensington with video, Targus expresscard, Belkin, or the dell (for latitude and XPS 1710 --is it compatible with the m1330?).
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Sadly, the 1330 is not compatible with any dock. you can use a USB port replicator, but a true dock is not available. It wouldn't carry video, though.

Doesn't the m1330 have vga output?
...am I being a total noob when I say this? -
The rep at Dell said I should try out the Belkin. I'll do that and let you know how it goes.

any updates on this?

bump..
I'm looking for a good dock for my new 1330. Googling turned out in vain.
Any updates on this? -
Aside from something like an ExpressCard dock, there is nothing. And no dock will provide power, which kind of kills it for me.

I love the docking station (MediaBase) on my D420. It's a shame they don't make the m1330 dock-capable.
