Hey everyone I am looking for a docking station/port replicator for my asus u36SD. I plan to connect a monitor to it and a keyboard. So far I found two docking stations that might work
    Asus Power Docking Station w/4 USB 2.0/DVI-D/VGA/HDMI/Mic in/Headphone/Gigabit LAN/Parallel/Serial/PS2/Power

    and

USB 2.0 Universal Docking Station (1VGA, 1 DVI, 1 Mic, 1 Audio Out, 1 LAN, 4 USB2.0) Run a total of 3 Display with Dock
+ Video Out on Laptop and Laptop Display.

I am tending to choose the USB 2.0 because I am also planning to use it for my HP laptop. Does anyone have any experience with it? Would you recommend it?

Also, I am looking for a 22 inch monitor. My main use of it will be internet, word, and some matlab programming. Which one would you recommend? My budget is 160$
