    Don't got the former but have multiple Micro II. I've had the old Micro break on me and turtle beach replaced it for free.

    The original micro was like the Sabrent, and they will break pretty easily due to how they stick out of your notebook. You are also putting your USB ports on your motherboard at higher risk.
