Buy the Sabrent External 2.1 Surround Sound Adapter at TigerDirect.ca
I'm trying to decide between it and this Micro II:
Buy the TB TBS-1150 Audio Advantage Micro II Sound Card at TigerDirect.ca
While the Micro II is much more expensive, it also looks a lot more durable. What I'm curious about is if the Sabrent can survive the wear and tear of regular plugging and unplugging, as well as moving the laptop around with it installed.

Don't got the former but have multiple Micro II. I've had the old Micro break on me and turtle beach replaced it for free.
The original micro was like the Sabrent, and they will break pretty easily due to how they stick out of your notebook. You are also putting your USB ports on your motherboard at higher risk. -
Well, if the cheapo fleabay USB sound adapters I've bought are any indication, all of them came with extender cables in addition to the stick. So in the end it basically becomes the same (but bulkier) setup as the TB.
Also, the Amigo II ( http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6390608) is the direct equivalent. The Micro II is output-only.
Does anybody have this Sabrent External sound adapter?
