I noticed that my mouse is beginning to double click by itself after i scroll. However, this effect is not present on my touch pad... What's happening?

What kind of mouse is it and how long have you been using it for?

Check ur mouse settings in control panel, is it a mouse pad or an external keyboard? Is it a wireless mouse? Maybe the connection is week.

Probably just the regular wear over time. My old mouse either double clicks, or doesn't click at all. It's a pain. Best thing to do is just buy a new one, or open it up, and you'll notice part of the tooth that clicks is worn, maybe you can stick something on it to make it long again if you're too cheap ;)

Funny thing, i got angry and knocked it a few times. It is working again... Hahaha. Good to know it isn't a unique software problem... Anyway, i have had the mouse for a few months short of a year.
