My friend just bought 2 logitech Z5500 5.1 speaker systems and a 2 female-1 male splitter. Since the amp is built into the sub and the computer only supplies audio information, will he be able to play them simultaneously?

Yes the z5500 is loud enough by itself, but his goal is to make it as loud as possible...

Of coz it will, i have 1 z5500 and by half volumn on, it makes the ground shake. Anyway, get a good sound card oso, u wont get best out with a lousy card.

Edit: U need 3 2-1female to male spliter, 1 wont work. Unless u hav a card that has 6 input plug.
